Is Meru the Ural Mountains?

The Meru in Vedism-Brahmanism-Hinduism is considered the sacred mountain in the center of the Earth, around which the planets revolve. Scientifically speaking, in the ancient myths in which Mount Meru is mentioned, real data related to the geography of the Earth could be reflected. Mount Meru may well be the Ural Mountains that separate Europe from Asia.
